New leadership for the private health insurance area of the Department of Health with Nick Henderson moving from his current position as chief budget officer.
Mr Henderson has also previously served as assistant secretary for Pharmaceutical Policy.
The Private Health Insurance area is part of the Medical Benefits Division headed by first assistant secretary David Weiss.
It is part of an area led by deputy secretary Penny Shakespeare that is also responsible for Medicare, diagnostic imaging, PBS and pharmacy, as well as the Office of Health Technology Assessment that incorporates prostheses.
The changes that brought Mr Henderson into the private health insurance area were part of a large number of changes across the Department.
