Medibank says more than 270,000 of its customers have enjoyed 100 per cent back on a dental check-up at a Members' Choice Advantage dentist since the new network was launched on 1 January this year.
According to the insurer, the introduction of its Members' Choice Advantage network has delivered more than $2.5 million in out-of-pocket savings to its customers.
Chief customer officer David Koczkar said Medibank has paid more than $66 million in benefits for regular check-ups at all Members’ Choice dentists since 1 January.
“We launched the new Members' Choice Advantage network in 2019 to deliver customers greater value and a better experience at an affordable cost,” said Mr Koczkar.
“It’s great to see our customers are already gaining an advantage from this, and many dental practices have told us they are enjoying the benefits they can provide to patients too.”
The insurer said there are more than 900 Members' Choice Advantage dental practices across Australia.
