Medibank has launched a new network of dentists designed to enhance the value of it extras cover.
The new network means its customers with extras cover for two months or more can now access up to two 100 per cent-back check-ups with their Members’ Choice Advantage dentist every year.
Medibank said these check-ups coming out of a customer's general dental limit. Up to two bitewing x-rays per appointment are included in the Members’ Choice Advantage offer.
This means Medibank customers will not be out-of-pocket for either of their bi-annual check-up, scale and clean, including up to two bitewing x-rays per check-up, and could save up to $220 per appointment.
According to David Simpson, Medibank general manager of health benefits, “We know that dental is the most commonly claimed Extras benefit and that our customers can generally get better value on services like this through the Members’ Choice network, so I’m pleased that we’ve been able to deliver even more value to include the two dental check-ups each year with Members’ Choice Advantage.”
