HealthShare has announced a new partnership to support private health fund members find a healthcare provider who offers HICAPS.
HealthShare is Australia's leading health practitioner directory that allows consumers, health fund members and general practitioners to research and find the right health provider for their needs.
HICAPS is an electronic health claims and payments system.
Under the new partnership, participating HICAPS health service providers will be highlighted in practitioner searches across all HealthShare platform channels. This includes health insurer directories powered by HealthShare and referral directories integrated with GP software.
For HICAPS providers, the partnership will provide an up-to-date listing on HealthShare with access to over 90 per cent of GPs via integration with leading software – Best Practice and MedicalDirector. It will also profile providers.
