Health sector prominent in annual HR awards

Healthcare companies feature prominently amongst the list of finalists for the 2019 Ironfish HR Awards.

The awards are designed to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the country's top human resource leaders, companies and teams.

Private health insurer Peoplecare Health is a finalist for Best Change Management Strategy.

Paul Braico, vice president and managing director, Boston Scientific Australia and New Zealand, is a finalist for HR Champion (CEO) of the Year.

Boston Scientific is a finalist for Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees) while Edwards Lifesciences is a finalist for Employer of Choice (1-99 Employees).

Boston Scientific is also a finalist for Best Learning and Development Program.

Pharmaceutical companies also feature prominently, with three nominations for AbbVie, in Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees), Best Health and Well-Being Program and Best Workplace Flexibility Program.

MSD and Sanofi also secured three finalist nominations.

MSD in Best Workplace Flexibility Program, Australian HR Team of the Year (≤1000 Employees) and Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees).

Sanofi in Australian HR Team of the Year (≤1000 Employees), Employer of Choice (100-999 Employees) and HR Rising Star of the Year (Sarah Alexander).

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in September.
