HCF has released a new product range designed to meet the needs of families across Australia.
According to Lorraine Thomas, HCF head of product, “With health costs expected to rise and as more members continue to review their premiums and coverage levels, we have worked to develop a product that offers members comprehensive hospital cover with flexible extras. My Family offers consumers a new choice to support them on their health journey.”
The health fund has partnered with Birth Beat, a 2018 HCF Catalyst participant, to provide members with access to an online childbirth education service.
The service is delivered by a registered midwife, Edwina Sharrock. It provides parents with in-home evidence-based information about the birth and first weeks of their newborn’s life. It is expected to be particularly helpful for people in rural and regional areas.
