Private health insurer GMHBA has appointed Janine Haigh as its new director of clinical care.
The company said that with a remit that spans Western Victoria (including Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Warrnambool and Portland), the pivotal senior leadership role will be accountable for leading and overseeing all clinicians in its eye care, GP, dental, physiotherapy and hub locations.
Ms Haigh is a highly regarded clinical leader with over 25 years of executive leadership experience within ASX-listed companies, private equity and not-for-profit organisations.
Her expertise lies within mental health and acute private hospital sectors, most recently as the General Manager and Director of Nursing at The Geelong Clinic for the past 11 years. She has also held the same role at St Helens Private Hospital, Geelong Private Hospital and St John of God Healthcare.
Chief operating officer Natalie Lanarus said GMHBA was committed to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences.
