Bupa has expanded its optical and hearing network in Queensland with the acquisition of two stores in Townsville.
The company has acquired Greenfield’s Optical Centres in CastleTown Shoppingworld and Fairfield Central Shopping Centre.
Guneet Sawhney, the director Bupa Optical and Hearing, acknowledged Greenfield’s long history and said the acquisition reflects Bupa's commitment to expanding its services in Queensland.
“Greenfield’s first opened in 1915 and has been servicing the optical needs of the Townsville community for more than 100 years. Our aim is to continue to service the community under the name and support them through Bupa’s product range, service offerings and value proposition," said Sawhney.
“So please welcome Greenfield’s Optical Centre – part of Bupa.”
Bupa said its Optical and Hearing business now has 12 stores in Queensland.
