New leadership for Medtronic Australia with the appointment of Liz Carnabuci to succeed Tim Fortin.
Ms Carnabuci joined Medtronic in November last year as the vice president of its regional diabetes division. The company has added the leadership of its Australiasian business to this existing role.
Medtronic is one of Australia's largest healthcare organisations. It is headquartered in Sydney's Macquarie Park and provides technologies that treat a wide range of medical conditions, including cardiac and vascular diseases, respiratory, neurological and spinal conditions, and diabetes.
Ms Carnabuci previously worked in senior Australian and regional roles at Becton Dickinson, CareFusion and Baxter. She has over 25 years of commercial experience in the healthcare industry.
She was most recently the vice president of medication delivery solutions (MDS) at Becton Dickinson for Central South Asia and Japan, where she headed the development and implementation of sales, marketing and support strategies.
Ms Carnabuci has also served as the vice president and general manager of Becton Dickinson subsidiary CareFusion and she spent 16 years at Baxter Healthcare in various Australian and regional commercial leadership roles.
